I did not arrive at this work through a single revelation. I arrived through accumulation. Through years of learning, unlearning, and the kind of honest reckoning that only becomes possible when you stop running from what you feel.
The first threshold was my body. Learning to train, to push, to discover that I could hold far more than I believed. What that unlocked was not just physical strength but a trust in myself I had never known. The quiet confidence of a person who has tested their own edges and found something solid there.
The second was the end of a long relationship. In the wreckage of that ending I found something I had been carrying without knowing it. A version of myself so focused on his own wounds that he had forgotten he was on the same team as the person across from him. That loss cracked something open. It showed me the difference between a man defending his position and a man devoted to genuine connection. I chose devotion.
The third was a sacred sound ceremony in Jackson, Wyoming. What dissolved there was the last layer of fear around being fully seen. What emerged was a clearer channel, a deeper commitment to showing up with everything I am and inviting others to do the same.
Through all of it, one thing remained constant. A lover who wants understanding for everyone. A deep and unshakeable belief that connection is always possible, that repair is always available, and that the space between two people is never as uncrossable as it feels in the hardest moments.
That belief is what became Conexus. A practice devoted to turning conflict into connection, giving people the tools to feel fully without being consumed, and building the kind of presence that makes every relationship it touches more honest, more alive, and more free.
